Still looking for summer camp ideas?

By West Morris Macaroni Kid June 19, 2019

Sooooo, you didn't start researching and booking camps for your kids in January, and now you've realized it's the end of June, what to do?

Luckily, we get moms like you, and we've got some ideas!

First and foremost, it is probably too late to gift your child the amazing-ness of Meadowbrook Day Camp (you def need to jump on that next January) but we would be remiss if we didn't give them a little shout out here, because our kids attend and it is nothing short of AWESOME.  Take a peek and maybe add a calendar reminder for next year!

Moving on to ideas that might help you out this year!

If you have an athlete, why not try out STEPS Lacrosse camp, being held at Black River Field in Chester from July 15th-18th.  We love STEPS, and they love us, so much so that they've offered an extension of the $50 Macaroni Kid discount, so if you HURRY, you can save some $$!  Details HERE

If you have a budding musician, then your child will LOVE the KidzRock camps at Tiny Conservatory!  You'll have to hurry - again, but they are offering 20% off registrations through THIS SUNDAY!

Riverside Kids in Hackettstown has several great camp options including Gymnastics, Dance and Sports!  They will also be running a full morning class schedule and are happy to pro-rate if you are not able to make all classes.  Siblings and multiple weeks are HALF PRICE!

If you are close enough to Mount Olive, you should most certainly check out their recreation department's summer offerings - we've always been amazed by how many things this rec department puts on, and summer camps are no exception - there truly is something for everyone!  https://rec.mountolivetownship.com/summer-camps/

Finally, we'd love to introduce you to The Art Diner!  They hold art and cooking classes at various Morris County locations, but the option we think is totally awesome, is that if you have 6 or more kids (think friends, neighbors) she will bring the camp to you!  Working from home, we thought this was the perfect type of camp, no running out for 30 min each way to drop off and pick up, you can set up camp outside and they'll do all the work!  Keep an eye out for a special Macaroni Kid play date featuring The Art Diner!

Whatever you and your kiddos are doing this summer, we hope it is THE BEST SUMMER EVER!  If you haven't already seen it, make sure you check out our announcement about the Summer Bucket List and giveaway!

XOXO
