Please read! Important (and fun) info for 2025! Cheers to 2025 to all the Morris County Moms out there - this has been my third full year at the helm of MK West Morris - boy have we been having some fun! Some of you have been on this ride with us for awhile, and some are just joining, so thought I'd do a quick meet-and-greet with you all.
My name is Amanda Janke, I have 4 kiddos (this photo is old, but one of my faves). My oldest is 18 now - we are so close to the graduation finish line! I am a freelance marketer and social media manager who was the assistant for MKWM for 5 years before taking it over in November of 2021. I deal with all the things - managing a household, trying to financially contribute, driving way too many places, trying to stay fit, trying not to eat the chocolate, fighting the school for an IEP, having another baby when I thought I was done - and just like you - trying to find fun things for my family (and myself) while not breaking the bank! I first found MK as a resource when my 2nd was born, and I've been a huge fan ever since. It's hard to spend hours on the internet as a busy mom, and we strive to put all the fun things at your fingertips, in one convenient place. I really hope you are enjoying what we put out! My final thought for you is this - when I first found Macaroni Kid, it was so helpful.
