Wild West City is a western theme park located in the beautiful, scenic Skyland’s Region of
Sussex County, New Jersey. Wild West City presents an interactive adventure bringing tales of
the Wild West to life. The unique 1880’s theme park is a place where guests can step back in
time, disconnect from the modern world and reawaken the spirit of the American West.
When stepping inside the theme park it feels as if you have been transported back in time to
the real wild west. Live action shows and reenactments of the west are performed on the ‘Main
Street’ in town throughout the day. Guests can explore the towns shoppes, museums and watch
history come to life at the mountain man cabin, school house, chuckwagon, gold mine and
blacksmith shoppe.
In addition to admission, guests can ride the Stage Coach through town, hop aboard the Wild
West City Train line traveling through outlaw territory, play a round of miniature golf and
younger buckaroos can ride a pony.
During the 2023 season, Wild West City is looking to initiate some "new" traditions and
activities, such as the Cowboy Corral where participants will find a unique, one of a kind roping
experience. In addition, a new production, Billy's Great Escape will be presented July 15, 2023.
Inside the Cowboy Corral guests will be able to swing a rope just like a cowboy on the range.
Guests can play solo or with friends and family making it competitive with a new game earning
points depending on how you rope the steer. The new production, Billy’s Great Escape brings
history to life with one of the west’s most notorious outlaws.
The Native American Indian Village, which debuted last year is being expanded to include a
more detailed history of how Native Americans lived.
For frequent visitors to Wild West City, Posse Memberships are being offered. Memberships
includes unlimited visits throughout the 2023 season, admission to all special event days, bring
a friend ticket, souvenir WWC Cup, discounts at food and retail shops and more!
In the Golden Nugget Saloon and Pilsner’s Candy Shoppe, management is creating new menu
items that fit the theme park atmosphere. Seasonal eats and cra] cocktails are just some of the
items that the saloon will have to offer in the 2023 season.
Wild West City offers an array of special days during the year: among them Wild West
City's National Day of the Cowboy and Cowgirl, Civil War reenactments, Native American events
and more. The amusement park will continue to feature many of its annually held theme days
with discounts, such as on Mother's Day, Father's Day, and Scout weekends.
Tickets can be purchased in advance online. Wild West City is one of the most unique things to
