Get involved in the CARE Program! Volunteer and Paid Positions open!

Give back to today's kids by helping out this enrichment program

By West Morris Macaroni Kid April 14, 2024

The CARE Children's Enrichment Program of Long Valley is currently interviewing volunteers and paid workshop leaders for our 24/25 program year. No experience or teaching certificate is needed - this is a volunteer and mentorship program run by the Long Valley Junior Women's Club to be able to offer enriching activities to local children (can you say "put down the electronics!")

Volunteers 18+ are needed to chaperone classes. Volunteers under 18 can assist in classes and/or work on administrative tasks. We have a training program to be able to offer HS students a paid internship opportunity and also welcome adult workshop leaders to apply for paid positions.

Some classes offered in the past include: Dance, Karate, Piano, Theater, Cooking, Nature-based play and art, Sports Skillz, Wild and Wacky Scientists, Fun with Food, Around the World Cultural Experience, Crochet Club - and more! The program is open to running any type of enrichment program, come with your own ideas or run one of our already set up workshops.

Most workshops offer (6), 45-minute classes. The stipend per class ranges from $25-$35
